It's been a few years since our One Woman Rising statue found its new, and permanent home in our great city. In that period of time, we've had numerous events and countless numbers of people have visited and taken a few moments out of their lives to reflect on what this majestic statue means to all of us. Day in and day out, this beautiful piece stands watch, reminding us all that until women are free, no one is free. We are grateful to The Chelko Foundation for taking financial responsibility for One Woman Rising. As the organizer of One Billion Rising Atlanta, we have decided to take the responsibility to keep her in the best state of repair as is possible. To that end, we are asking you, our generous supporters to help us continue the upkeep of such an important piece of art. Donation or no, we invite you all to come on out and see this amazing work of art. Thank you in advance for your support. |
